Finland’s national drone strategy positions drones as a cross-cutting national capability rather than a collection of isolated projects. Published as drone-related activity was accelerating across defence, industry and public authorities, the strategy seeks to provide a shared national direction for this development. The Finnish FPV competition scene is not constrained by a lack of skills, but by missing structures. Finland has a highly experienced core community whose potential cannot be fully realised without stable training environments and a stronger ecosystem.
